So does this mean if we have an at fault accident we could still have to pay $3750?
No nothing. It covers the excess... therefore it covers your liability.
For example:- If the car was completely destroyed, you liability ( excess) would be 3750, in Total.
With this insurance, it covers that. So you have no excess liability.
